There are plenty of reasons home buyers are drawn to property in Darwin, and community events like the 2014 NT Powerade City2Surf are just one example.
After record participation levels in 2013, the City2Surf event returns to Darwin. This 12km run will begin on Darwin’s Esplanade on Sunday, June 1 and finish at the Nightcliff Pool. Meanwhile, the 4km Minisurfer will start and finish at the Nightcliff Pool.
Billed as the Northern Territory’s premier fun run, the City2Surf event gives community members a chance to give back by fundraising for their favourite charity or cause. Runners can create free personal online fundraising pages, with the top fundraiser receiving a secret, awesome prize!
Of course, you’ll probably be looking to cool down after the race, which is why the event will feature a Pool Precinct for runners to cool off complete with music from a DJ, pool toys and on-duty lifeguards.
